ZAGREB, Oct 6 (hina) - Croatia's decision to proclaim a protected

for EU enlargement Jean-Christophe Filori told Croatia's Vjesnik

Neither the non-existence of a final border agreement nor the
decision to proclaim an ecological and fishing zone bring Slovenia
and Croatia's joining the EU into question, Filori told the daily,
adding that should this be an issue, Slovenia would be the first
country to have problems in joining the EU.
There are several outstanding border issues even within the EU,
such as Gibraltar, said the spokesman, adding that the Netherlands
and Belgium solved their last border issue only several years ago.
