That's why the editorial in the latest issue of the paper is
dedicated to its 40th anniversary. The former and current editors-
in-chief, Zivko Kustic and Ivan Miklenic, wrote about
circumstances in which the weekly had been published.
The 40-year-long history of Glas Koncila has mirrored the history
of the Catholic Church in the Croatian people, the two commentators
wrote. They recalled the times when the paper had been issued during
the Communist rule in the then socialist Yugoslav federation.

first Croatian Catholic paper to have its Internet page.
The first issue of Glas Koncila was published on 29 September 1963.
