POREC, Sept 20 (Hina) - Asked by reporters in Porec on Saturday for a comment on press reports that fugitive General Ante Gotovina was communicating with his family through an Italian contact, Prime Minister Ivica Racan said it was
not good that this information had been made public before it reached the Hague tribunal.

"The report ... shows what we have suspected, that General Gotovina
is very likely outside Croatia. The great pressure on Croatia to
arrest him ... is therefore largely misdirected. There will be more
talk of this in the coming days," Racan said.
The prime minister has arrived in this town in Istria to attend a
forum on tourism.
