At a meeting of the Economic-Social Council (GSV) on Wednesday,
Vidovic proposed that benefits be increased from 900 to 1,000 kuna,
the president of the Independent Croatian Unions, Kresimir Sever,
told Hina.
Vidovic promised the increase at a meeting with social partners
during negotiations concerning amendments to the Labour Law when
this was agreed as a partial compensation to the unemployed for
decreased severance wages and shorter dismissal periods.
