"Ambassador Clarke will complete his term of office as supervisor
for Brcko at the end of September this year," the spokeswoman for
the office of the high representative in the Brcko district, Suzana
Pejcic, said.
She added that the public would be informed in due course about
details of his departure and successor.
Jacques Paul Klein, former administrator of the Eastern Slavonia
region in Croatia and former UN special envoy to Bosnia-
Herzegovina, has been unofficially mentioned as a possible
candidate for Clarke's successor.
