Premiers Racan and Terzic were to sign a protocol amending Article 9
of the Ploce port agreement, defining a new composition of the Ploce
port management board, which would no longer include a foreign
national with arbitration authorities intervening in case of
disputes.
Kos explained that the meeting would not take place as the Bosnian
Presidency had failed to come to full agreement on the protocol.
The Serb member of the Bosnian Presidency, Borislav Paravac, told
reporters in Sarajevo today that the Bosniak member of the
Presidency, Sulejman Tihic, had requested at today's session of the
Presidency that the final text of the protocol precisely define the
deadline for the ratification of the whole agreement as well as the
election of the third member of an arbitration commission in charge
of settling possible disputes in the management of the port.
