VOJNIC, Aug 10 (Hina) - The federation of settlers in Croatia (ZUNH) warned on Monday that Croats expelled from Bosnia-Herzegovina, currently living in Croatia were exposed to pressure, even physical assaults.

currently living in Croatia were exposed to pressure, even physical

Considering that the situation is alarming, the federation will
seek protection of authorised institutions and organisations for
the protection of human rights, says a statement forwarded to Hina
Sunday.
According to the statement, the settlers are living in impossible
conditions. "Apart from poverty, unemployment and discrimination,
lately they (the settlers) are faced with threats of expulsion. It
is tragic that this is being done systematically. Lately there are
more cases of "late night visits" and physical attacks.
The ZUNH also warns about numerous irregularities and omissions in
regulating the payment of pensions to Croats expelled from Bosnia-
Herzegovina and Serbia and Montenegro.
The ZUNH along with associations of expelled Croats from Vojvodina,
warned the Croatian government about the omissions.
