ZAGREB, August 7 (Hina) - A two-day inspection of part of Croatia's armed units, conducted by an inspection team from Denmark with a guest inspector from Great Britain, started a briefing in the 1st Corps of the Croatian Armed Forces on Thursday morning. #L# The inspection started in line with the 1999 Vienna Document, and it will cover the wider region of Zagreb, Sisak, Karlovac and Ogulin, the Croatian Defence Ministry said in a statement Thursday. The inspection team should get an insight into the current situation in part of the Croatian military units in the said area, verify military information in line with the valid annual information on military forces for 2003 and get acquainted with activities of the existing units. Such visits are customary among countries signatories to the Vienna Documents. The objective of such visits is the mutual establishment of trust and security, as well as the exchange of experience. This is the second inspection this year conducted in the said area. Under the 1999 Vienna Document each country is obliged to allow up to three inspections a year, the ministry said. The inspection crew is comprised of Colonel Finn Jensen, Major Flemming Anker, Sergeant Major Tonny Andersen and Sergeant 1st Class Andrew Carr Paul. (hina) it
