ZAGREB, Aug 6 (Hina) - The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has replied to the Slovene foreign ministry's note with regard to the proclaimation of an economic belt in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea, the Croatian foreign

In the reply to the Slovene note, the Croatian foreign ministry said
the government's task force for monitoring the reform of a joint EU
fishing policy was drawing up an official standpoint on the
modalities for the solution to the issue, the statement said.
"The Croatian foreign ministry is harmonising standpoints with the
European Commission and neighbouring countries -- including
Slovenia -- to establish the future protection of natural and
economic resources of the Adriatic in line with national interests
as well as the EU policy, in the spirit of good-neighbourly
relations and regional cooperation," the statement said.
