The decision to make the document with guidelines public is in
compliance with efforts to demystify and democratise the work of
security services, Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic told
reporters.
The guidelines for the activities of Croatia's intelligence
services -- VOA (Military Intelligence Agency), POA (Counter-
Intelligence Agency) and OA (Intelligence Agency) -- were outlined
by the National Security Council, which held a session on Monday
evening.
The document covers several topics such as terrorism, organised
crime, white-collar crime, war crimes, missing persons etc.
It will serve as a basis for drawing up programmes for the work of
the said services.
