ZAGREB ZAGREB, July 21 (Hina) - The World Bank has announced that the current director of its office for south and central Europe, Andrew N. Vorkink, will be replaced by Anand K. Seth. The new post of Vorkink will be the director of
the Bank's office for Turkey.

current director of its office for south and central Europe, Andrew
N. Vorkink, will be replaced by Anand K. Seth. The new post of

The appointments of the new directors for the two said departments
take effect on 15 August this year, this financial institution
reported.
Vorkink has been the director of the Bank's office for south and
central Europe, covering Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania, for five
years.
Indian Anand K. Seth began his career in the Bank in the programme
called Young Professionals. He led businesses in the regions of
Europe and Central Asia as well as in the Middle East and North
Africa. He also held the post of the deputy head of the Bank's office
in Bangladesh. Prior to the latest appointment he was a director in
the office of the director-general in charge of the Bank's
operations, Shengman Zhang.
Anand K. Seth will work in the Bank's Regional Hub Office in Zagreb,
in which his predecessor spent two years.
