ZAGREB, July 8 (Hina) - There were 319,700 unemployed persons registered at the Croatian Employment Bureau at the end of June which is 3.4 percent less than in May and 17 percent less than in June 2002, the Bureau reported on
Tuesday.

The unemployment rate continues to drop, the Bureau's director,
Sanja Crnkovic Pozaic, said.
Of 24,773 persons who were deleted from the Bureau, 14,904 persons
or 60.2 percent found jobs.
A total of 13,591 unemployed persons registered with the Bureau in
the said period.
