ZAGREB, July 3 (Hina) - Croatia's foreign ministry welcomed on
Thursday the end of the ratification in Portugal's parliament of
Croatia's Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) with the
European Communities and their member-states. #L#
The Portuguese President's decision on the ratification was
published in the country's official gazette Diario da Republica on
July 1.
Portugal is the tenth European Union nation to ratify the SAA. The
remaining five -- Luxembourg, Belgium, Finland, Italy, Great
Britain -- are expected to approve it by the end of the year.
The Agreement goes into force after being ratified by all EU
nations.
