three fled the scene, Zagreb police told reporters Saturday.

Police manned all exits from the town until late last night and
continues to search for the participants, as well as for two
vehicles reportedly used in the armed altercation, police
spokeswoman Stanka Saraja told reporters.
She said some people from the criminal circles were questioned, but
one could not yet speak of "a classical showdown among mobsters".
The coffee shop in front of which the incident took place at around
12.30pm was often mentioned in the media as the gathering place of
members of the Zagreb Mafia during the trial of some of its members
in Zagreb which ended last year. But the spokeswoman did not want to
comment on speculations that the shooting was connected with people
involved in the trial.
