OSIJEK, June 21 (Hina) - The strike committee of the Belje agribusiness concluded on Saturday it was willing to put the strike which began a few days ago on hold if an agreement was signed on the payment of overdue salaries and travel
expenses based on conclusions reached yesterday by the government's Social Partnership Office.

Trade unions active in the eastern Croatian company temporarily
decided against staging a protest rally in front of the government
in Zagreb on Monday. If salaries are not paid under said agreement
on June 28, the strike will resume and roads in the Baranja region
will be blocked. A protest in Zagreb is also possible.
