DUBLIN, June 13 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Friday voiced satisfaction with the arrest of Veselin Sljivancanin, whom the UN war crimes tribunal at The Hague charged with war crimes in Vukovar. #L# "I can only express satisfaction with the fact that Sljivancanin has been arrested and that he will definitely stand trial for war crimes which he, along with others, committed in Vukovar," the PM said. Racan voiced satisfaction with the efficiency of Serbian police, adding he was confident police would demonstrate the same level of efficiency in arresting other war criminals who committed crimes in Croatia. Former Yugoslav Army Lt. Col. Sljivancanin was arrested early this morning in his Belgrade apartment. The ICTY charged him with crimes on Ovcara, near the eastern Croatia town of Vukovar, where at least 200 Croats were executed. Also charged with the same crime are Mile Mrksic and Miroslav Radic, who have already surrendered to the ICTY. (hina) it
