These are the preliminary data gathered from the annual financial
report that 62,385 businessmen submitted to the Register of Annual
Financial Reports held by Fina.
Profits greater than losses were realised for the second
consecutive year which means that the favourable results from 2001
were not coincidental and the long series of losses seems to have
been stopped, Fina officials reported.
Last year's financial reports indicate that the total revenue
realised by Croatian businessmen grew compared to 2001 with a
nominal rate of 15.3 percent to a total of 381.9 billion kuna while
expenses increased by 12.8 percent to 368.13 billion kuna.
