ZAGREB, June 11 (Hina) - The Croatian parliament began its 33rd session on Wednesday, the last regular one before the summer recess. #L# The session began with a minute of silence in honour of the late Croatian Democratic Union MP Ivo Baica. MPs decided a government motion to amend the law on the organisation and scope of activity of ministries and state administrative organisations should be adopted in regular and not urgent procedure, claiming the motion touched upon several constitutional powers. Parliament is to be in session 20 working days over five weeks. Sessions will begin on Tuesday, and not Wednesday as usual, to enable MPs to debate the entire agenda which has more than 40 items. It is expected the government will forward a series of bills related to the adjustment of Croatian legislation with EU standards. One of the items on the agenda is the annual report on the work of the Hina Steering council. (hina) ha
