ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - A defence attorney for Ivica Rajic, whose extradition to the Hague-based U.N. war crimes tribunal was approved on Monday by the Croatian Supreme Court, said he would not file a complaint with the Constitutional
Court as it would not prevent his client's hand-over.

extradition to the Hague-based U.N. war crimes tribunal was
approved on Monday by the Croatian Supreme Court, said he would not
file a complaint with the Constitutional Court as it would not
prevent his client's hand-over. #L#
"After consultations with our client, we decided not to initiate
proceedings at the Constitutional Court because even if the Court
accepted our appeal against the extradition ruling, it would only
be a Pyrrhic victory as the Supreme Court's ruling is final,"
attorney Zeljko Olujic told Hina.
Rajic's attorneys are now preparing for his defence at the
International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
Rajic, a former Bosnian Croat commander, was indicted by the ICTY in
1995 for the massacre of at least 16 Muslim civilians in the central
Bosnian village of Stupni Do in 1993.
