ZAGREB, June 9 (Hina) - Pope John Paul II landed in Zadar shortly after 10.30 hours Monday where he is expected to hold the Liturgy of the word before more than 110,000 believers.

At the airport in this southern coastal town, the pope was welcomed
by Zadar archbishop Ivan Prendja and the town and county
leadership, led by mayor Bozidar Kalmeta and prefect Simo
Prtenjaca.
