A staggering 220,000 faithful attended the Eucharist at the Cepin
airfield during which doctors had to intervene many times, the
Osijek Bishopric press office said.
One woman died on the way to Osijek, while a 43-year-old man
suffered a heart attack and died during Mass, said the Catholic
Press Agency.
The temperature at the Eucharist exceeded 38 degrees centigrade.
