The conclusion of the agreement enables the signing of annual
contracts between the founder and Hina on purchasing the rights to
use Hina's information services for the purpose of informing state
bodies and other users.
The annual contracts, which will be signed by the culture ministry
on behalf of the government, equate state bodies with all other Hina
services' users, the agreement reads.
The agreement was signed in pursuance to the Law on Hina, and the
budgetary financing of the agency's work has been discontinued.
The new system of financing provides the Croatian News Agency with
complete independence and directs it towards long-term placement
of its services on the market, the agreement says.
