parliament session, held on the occasion of Sabor Day, May 30, the day when the first multiparty parliament in Croatia was constituted 13 years ago. Addressing the gathered, Tomcic said the Sabor was proud of its role in the past decade, adding that it faced equally challenging tasks -- membership in the European Union and NATO -- in the coming period. In the coming period, parliament will complete reforms which are directly related to Croatia's international status and integration goals, Tomcic said. Recalling May 30, 1990, Tomcic said "that day, without any doubt, was a historic watershed in Croatia's history".
