during the war in Bosnia, will serve her sentence in Sweden, the Swedish TT news agency reported on Wednesday.

crimes against humanity committed during the war in Bosnia, will
serve her sentence in Sweden, the Swedish TT news agency reported on

Plavsic, who will be serving a sentence in Sweden at her own
request, will be transferred to the women's prison in Hinseberg,
some 200 kilometres west of Stockholm, next week, the agency
reported.
Sweden is one of nine countries that signed an agreement with the UN
on the execution of ICTY verdicts.
Biljana Plavsic is the first amongst the highest ranking Serb
politicians accused of participating in criminal activities who
pleaded guilty to charges of ethnic cleansing against Muslim and
Croats in Bosnia between 1992 and 1995.
She is the highest ranking politician to have been sentenced by the
Hague-based tribunal.
