Said decisions are the result of an Internal Supervision Office
report stating that Buffer Stocks operations are not in line with
the law. It has been established that the Buffer Stocks management
did not propose to the government new strategic buffer stocks
balances nor the annual commodity reserves programme. Despite
this, 11 purchase contracts were signed with companies which
received 26,700 tonnes of wheat.
Linic said he, Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic and Agriculture
Minister Bozidar Pankretic had been entrusted with preparing
conclusions concerning Buffer Stocks operations for the
government's session on Thursday.
Linic said he had requested the State Prosecutor's Office and the
Interior Ministry to act on the findings of the Internal
Supervision Office.
