Mesic held a lecture as part of the "EU Days" project which opened at
the faculty on Thursday under the organisation of the Croatian
Student Association.
Mesic stressed that funds for tertiary education in Croatia were on
the 12th place and for science on the 13th.
"When we speak about Europe, we speak of a Europe which is unifying.
Croatia is certainly participating in this," Mesic said, stressing
that for the first time, Europe was unifying based on interest, not
force.
The Croatian Student Association is organising Europe Union Days
for the fourth consecutive year. During the event, many ambassadors
accredited in Croatia will hold lectures to students.
Croatian Foreign Minister Tonino Picula will hold a lecture
tomorrow.
