ZAGREB, May 2 (Hina) - The American company Amway, which has a representation office in Croatia, and the United States government will finance the removal of mines around a primary school in the town of Zrnovnica near Split, the U.S.
Embassy in Zagreb said in a statement Friday. The donation is worth US$30,000.

This is Amway's first donation for such purposes in Croatia. The
U.S. government has donated an excess of $40 million to support
Croatia's mine-clearing efforts in the past five years, the embassy
says in the statement.
