drought that has lasted for several months.

the government to declare east Croatia a disaster area, which would
alleviate the consequences of a drought that has lasted for several

The drought has destroyed 60 percent of sugar beets, 50% of oil beet
and at least 30% of wheat for now. Such a situation could result in
insufficient amounts of wheat and sugar beet for domestic use.
