Incumbent Energoinvest director Djemail Vlahovljak confirmed that
his company, along with Croatia's Djuro Djakovic and Jugoturbina
and Serbia's Prva Iskra, was one of the main equipment suppliers of
the Soviet nuclear power plant.
Former Energoinvest director Dragutin Kosovac said immediately
after the Chernobyl disaster 17 years ago that Energoinvest
equipment was ruled out as a possible factor which caused the
disaster.
Energoinvest officials took the accusations against this company
really hard because the company is preparing to participate, along
with other companies from Bosnia, in reconstruction projects in
Iraq.
