LJUBLJANA, April 23 (Hina) - Croatia's oil company INA wishes to strengthen its position in Slovenia, which in an interesting market to INA considering its closeness to Rijeka's refineries, a member of INA's Board, Zeljko Vrbanovic,
told journalists in Ljubljana on Wednesday.

Slovenia's Petrol has been obtaining oil from Rijeka's refineries
for some time now. Negotiations on the establishment of combined
companies in Croatia and Slovenia are underway.
INA's company in Slovenia Interina supplied 90,870 tonnes of oil
derivatives to Slovenian buyers last year. This year it plans to
increase this by five percent.
According to information presented today, Interina realised a
revenue of 50 million euros last year which represents an increase
of 11 percent.
INA has 6 petrol stations in Slovenia mostly around the Maribor
area. It also has several gas centres in the heart of the country
Slovenia and along the Slovene coast.
Interina was founded in Slovenia ten years ago and currently
employs 113 people.
