ZAGREB, April 22 (Hina) - As of Wednesday, the Croatian Internet

service in the region, offering and automatically displaying the
latest news from 56 domestic web sites. #L#
The Media Index news service, a specialised news search engine,
will also cover the territory of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Slovenia, and
Serbia and Montenegro.
The system will offer the most popular unedited news from the entire
Croatian Internet. At any given moment, the system will run at least
20 news items released over the last hour and hundreds of news items
released over the last 24 hours. The visitors will not be able to
read full news items, but will have a link to the site from which the
news was taken.
Babic said that there were only several services, like Google news,
in the entire world and dismissed concerns about possible lawsuits
regarding copyrights, adding that the system was entirely legal.
