Commenting on a situation in Montenegro, the religious dignitary
said "Montenegro has never been Serbia, although it was a wish of
conquering shown by those who wanted to conquer Croatia, too."
Metropolitan Mihailo said he would like to see Montenegro, like
Croatia as an independent country, building its future with the
assistance of the European community.
He also expressed confidence that the Montenegrin Orthodox Church,
which has not yet been recognised by the Serbian Orthodox Church,
would prove its role in the history of the Montenegrin people.
