ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 1 (Hina) - There are plans to open a centre for the accommodation of asylum-seekers in the municipality of Rugvica in the area of Dugo Selo, east of Zagreb, and having this in mind the authorities of Zagreb County
on Tuesday concluded that a physical plan of Dugo Selo should be amended for this purpose and that those amendments should be discussed in public as well.
ZAGREB, April 1 (Hina) - There are plans to open a centre for the
accommodation of asylum-seekers in the municipality of Rugvica in
the area of Dugo Selo, east of Zagreb, and having this in mind the
authorities of Zagreb County on Tuesday concluded that a physical
plan of Dugo Selo should be amended for this purpose and that those
amendments should be discussed in public as well. #L#
The centre will be in houses and a parking plot on four hectares,
previously used by the Croatian army.
Financial funds for the adjustment of the said buildings which
would thus offer accommodation for 200 to 500 people, will be
ensured by the European Union through the CARDS programme, the
Zagreb County authorities said today.
