Ministers from Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina,
Albania, Greece, and Serbia-Montenegro, the countries which form
the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative, are taking part in the meeting.
It was emphasised today that the future of the Initiative lay in the
realisation of common projects concerned with small businesses,
particularly in tourism.
A project to establish a network of services to motivate small and
medium businesses was announced. Italy will ensure the initial
funding.
The meeting in Rome ends on Tuesday. This year Slovenia takes the
chair of the Initiative from Italy.
