ZAGREB, March 26 (Hina) - Croatian hoteliers are planning to invest some EUR250 million in preparations for this year's tourist season and improvement of quality of services. The investments will exceed last year's by some five
million euros. Based on these investments, the hoteliers are expecting a ten percent increase of this year's turnover, amounting to some EUR424 million, the Croatian Caterers' Association (HUH) has estimated.

HUH has founded such estimates on results of a traditional opinion
poll conducted among hoteliers, focusing on plans ahead of the
tourist season. All plans were drawn up on the basis of ideal
conditions, without any negative influences of the war in Iraq or
other unforeseen events.
