Tuka was a minister in the government of the Alliance for Changes as
a candidate of the New Croat Initiative party in the period before
three national parties won last October's elections.
High Representative Paddy Ashdown requested that the New Croat
Initiative dismiss Tuka from his present duty as member of the
federal parliament. He also ordered the Croat-Muslim entity's
authorities to suspend Tuka's three associates, Salko Bebo, Fehi
Bekan and Adul Salihbegovic.
