ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Croatian President Stjepan Mesic on Wednesday received credentials from the Ghanaian Ambassador to Croatia, Kofi Dsana-Selby, and Irish Ambassador to Croatia Gerald Ansbro, Mesic's office reported.

Mesic reiterated Croatia's stand that a military action against
Iraq should be founded on a clear and unequivocal decision by the
UN.
"We can only hope that the war will be short with as little
casualties as possible," said the statement.
