ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Overflights of U.S. civilian transporters in the event of a war in Iraq will not affect the normal functioning of air traffic in Croatia as they are in line with procedures envisaged by the International
Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Croatia's Air Traffic Control said in a statement on Wednesday.
ZAGREB, March 19 (Hina) - Overflights of U.S. civilian transporters
in the event of a war in Iraq will not affect the normal functioning
of air traffic in Croatia as they are in line with procedures
envisaged by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO),
Croatia's Air Traffic Control said in a statement on Wednesday.

The Air Traffic Control is ready to act on the Croatian government's
decision of February 26 and in its action will be guided by ICAO and
EUROCONTROL (European Organisation for the Safety of Air
Navigation) principles, read the statement.
Croatia has been an ICAO member since 1992.
At a February 26 session, the Croatian government rubber-stamped
the use of Croatia's air space for the overflights, landing and
refuelling of civilian transporters at Croatian airports.
