Meetings are also envisaged with Home Secretary David Blunkett,
Defence Secretary Geoff Hoon, Minister for Europe Dennis McShane,
the leader of the House of Commons, Robin Cook, and members of the
British parliament's foreign affairs committee.
Racan should also have a working breakfast with British media
editors, while on Tuesday he is scheduled to speak about Croatia on
the road to the European Union at the Royal Institute of
International Affairs.
The trip to London is another stop of a tour Racan and other Croatian
officials have been making around Europe lobbying for support for
Croatia's application for full EU membership.
Great Britain has been the most vociferous among all EU nations to
date in insisting that Croatia fully cooperate with the U.N. war
crimes tribunal in The Hague. London last year froze the
ratification of Croatia's Stabilisation and Association Agreement
with the Union over the non-extradition of General Janko Bobetko.
