problems faced by justice policemen. #L#
The situation in the prison system is disastrous and the worst in
the last dozen years, union president Branko Milic told a news
conference.
Events which occurred last week bear testimony to that, said Milic.
In only a few days two prison wardens were suspended and a prison
doctor apprehended for taking bribes, while a hostage was taken in
the Lepoglava prison for the first time in over ten years, he
added.
Dismissing the union's claims, Hehet told Hina the situation in
prisons and the entire system had never been as good as in the past
year since he was at the helm of the Prison System Administration.
