from the scope of its authorities in connection to the sale of the Sisak Ironworks to Russia's Mechel company. The decisions will be forwarded later in the day, after which the sales contract comes into force, said Economy Minister Ljubo Jurcic. Ministers agreed on the phone to allow the Croatian Privatisation Fund to issue the necessary documents to Mechel and that all taxes pertaining to the sale and purchase of the ironworks be calculated into the sales price, i.e. one kuna. The decisions will be delivered to Mechel and the ironworks' receiver, after which the contract takes effect, Jurcic told reporters.
