Risnjak National Park in Crni Lug.

The total value of the project is 664,810 euros. The European LIFE
Foundation for third countries will ensure 66 percent of the
funding while the remainder will be supplied by the Environmental
Protection Ministry.
According to the Ministry, there is between 130 to 170 wolves in
Croatia that have the status of protected wild animals.
At one time, wolves inhabited the entire country while today they
can mostly be found in Lika, Gorski Kotar and Dalmatia. A smaller
number can be found in the Zumberak mountain range, around Samobor
and Ucka.
