ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - The costs of living in February rose by 0.74 percent as against January for a four-member family, according to figures released by the Independent Croatian Trade Unions (NHS).

figures released by the Independent Croatian Trade Unions (NHS).

The consumer basket cost 7,140 kuna (approximately 939.5 euros) or
54 kuna more than in January.
The average salary in December came to 3,839 kuna (EUR505), which
could cover 53.77 percent of the consumer basket.
The living costs, calculated by this union federation, do not
include costs for education, care, health, holidays and leisure and
sports activities and costs for new-born babies. It also does not
assume that the family has a car.
