The locals have proposed that a school for the Romany be built
either in the Romany settlement of Iskorovac or in the elementary
school in the municipality of Mala Subotica.
Medjimurje County prefect Branko Levacic and municipal head Josip
Segovic have been unable to change their minds.
Currently 157 pupils attend the first four grades in the Drzimurec-
Strelec school, of whom 127 are Romany.
