ZAGREB, Feb 13 (Hina) - Last year Croatia exported US$4.9 billion in goods to foreign markets, while the country's import amounted to 10.7 billion dollars. Last year's exports increased by five percent, while imports rose by 17.1
percent in relation to the preceding year.

According to preliminary data of the Central Bureau of Statistics,
the country's foreign trade deficit in 2002 reached a record-high
amount of 5.8 billion dollars, while the export-import ratio
dropped to a mere 45.7 percent.
