The decision was made after USTA officials attended an operation of
the removal of mines from a field in the Gajine village, the Zadar
hinterland.
"This is our way of showing support to the people of Croatia, who
have been such incredible hosts to our Davis Cup team and the USTA
contingent this week," USTA president Alan Schwartz was quoted by
the Reuters as saying.
Croatian and U.S. tennis players are playing a Davis Cup first round
tie, over the weekend in Zagreb.
