"(Blaskic) is still undergoing medical examinations, but his
general physical condition has significantly improved," Nobilo
said and added that Blaskic's blood test results were much better.
A new date of the status conference on the Blaskic case, which
should have been held on January 22 but was delayed due to Blaskic's
health problems, has not yet been set, Nobilo said.
He added that the deadline for replying to new evidence of the
prosecution in the case expires on February 10, but that another
delay had been requested.
Former commander of the Central Bosnia Operation Zone Tihomir
Blaskic was found guilty for crimes committed in Bosnia's Lasva
Valley during the war and sentenced to 45 years in prison.
The appeal procedure is underway.
