ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - The president of the European Parliament's delegation for Southeast Europe, Doris Pack, during her talks with Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Tuesday, expressed satisfaction with Croatia's drawing closer
to European Union structures and supported Croatia's intention to submit an application for EU membership in the near future.
ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - The president of the European Parliament's
delegation for Southeast Europe, Doris Pack, during her talks with
Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan on Tuesday, expressed
satisfaction with Croatia's drawing closer to European Union
structures and supported Croatia's intention to submit an
application for EU membership in the near future. #L#
During the talks with Racan, Pack said EU countries always saw
Croatia as part of Europe and that political stability in the
country would help Croatia to use this opportunity, according to a
statement issued by the government's public relations office.
Racan informed Pack of the current political situation in Croatia
and the country's plan to submit the official application for
membership of the European Union. The premier expressed
satisfaction with the support of EU countries to Croatia.
