The headquarters will block the railroad and the border crossing
near Tovarnik because the footwear factory's 2,230 workers are
unhappy with how the government and the Croatian Privatisation Fund
are treating their right to severance pays, said Josip Kompanovic.
"Both the government and the Croatian Privatisation Fund have
turned a deaf ear to the workers' justified demands and taken a
completely glib attitude towards the problem of (war) victims'
families," he told Hina.
