Four persons -- senior officials of the Serb Revival Movement --
were killed in the staged collision.
Nenad Bujosevic and Nenad Ilic, both members of a unit for special
operations a.k.a. Red Berets, were sentenced to 15 years in prison
as the killers. The fourth person on the indictment, Milan
Radonjic, a former Belgrade Security Service chief, was
acquitted.
Victims' relatives, who had expected Markovic to be held directly
responsible for the attempt on Draskovic's life, said they would
appeal because the verdict was "shameful".
